Fitness is especially important to Native American communities, where the incidence of diabetes and other weight-related health problems is disproportionately high. NAFC offers a way for you to make a real difference through our cost-effective, 2- to 3-day certifications: Personal Trainer, Aerobics Instructor, Walking Strong Trainer, and Native Youth Fitness Leader. We also offer 1-day specialty fitness workshops in indoor cycling, kickboxing, body bar and ball, and hip-hop.
Because attitude plays a big role in fitness, our courses are designed to help you motivate people — regardless of their experience, physical ability, or emotional obstacles. We believe in doing whatever it takes to get Natives strong and healthy... and we pass this knowledge on to you through these trainings. |
